President Trump said 70 countries have contacted the White House to negotiate deals to lower or erase U.S. tariffs on their goods. It comes as the Trump administration is set to slap 104 percent tariffs on imports from China, in an effort to level the playing field for American businesses. NBC News' Christine Romans reports. 43-year-old Mario Edgardo, an undocumented migrant, has been charged with murder in the death of a 13-year-old boy and with sexually assaulting another teenager. Oscar Omar Hernandez, 13, was reported missing after visiting his soccer coach, according to police. His body was found last week on the side of a road in Southern California. NBC News' Morgan Chesky reports. Nintendo's release of the highly anticipated Switch 2 console is set for June 5. But the company paused pre-orders "to assess the potential impact" of President Trump's tariffs. NBC News' Tom Llamas reports the consoles are produced in China and Vietnam, which are both facing substantial new tariffs. Rescue crews are combing through the rubble left behind after the roof of a crowded nightclub collapsed in the Dominican Republic, killing 66 and injuring more than 150 others. NBC News' Priscilla Thompson reports. The Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to fire 16,000 probationary federal workers, reversing a lower court ruling.
