Police are investigating the deaths of two American tourists who died in separate incidents at a new resort in the Bahamas on Friday. Investigators are describing both events as drowning incidents. Three people were killed and another nine were injured in an overnight shooting at a Brooklyn nightclub, police said Sunday. Authorities say multiple shooters could be involved. NBC News' Maya Eaglin reports. A tense confrontation with masked federal agents was caught on camera, when a California family's vehicle was stopped. While a San Bernardino family said those agents opened fire at the family's truck, officials said they had to shoot in self defense because the family's car ran down a couple of Customs and Border Patrol agents. NBC News' Steve Patterson has the details. From tariffs and trade wars to growing concerns over unemployment numbers, there are questions about economic uncertainty and the potential risk for a recession ahead. But while warning signs on Wall Street may be mixed and confusing, perhaps the clearest indicator of the country's frightening economic future could be at the box office. In rural Maine, a program called "Community Plate" is fighting loneliness and building community by encouraging strangers to share food and stories at potluck suppers. NBC News' Richard Engel reports from the frontlines tonight in Kharkiv, Ukraine as Russia launches deadly strikes across the country. Richard visits an apartment building hit by a drone strike that killed seven people including a toddler. When asked about the peace talks taking place at the White House today, one resident tells Richard, "I just want it all to end as quickly as possible." President Trump says he plans to sign an executive order to eliminate mail-in voting ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. That effort will likely face legal challenges, as the constitution gives states the responsibility to oversee elections, not the federal government. NBC News' Gabe Gutierrez reports. In North Carolina, visitors and residents on Hatteras and Oracoke Islands have been told to evacuate. Hurricane Erin is not likely to make direct landfall in the U.S., but the eastern seaboard is under the risk for coastal flooding and life-threatening rip currents. The powerful category 4 hurricane has 140mph sustained winds and is expected to grow in size this week. NBC News' Aaron Gilchrist reports from Rodanthe, North Carolina. Investigators in Traverse City, Michigan released surveillance video inside the Walmart where a suspect stabbed eleven people in July. The video shows the man running through the aisles, attacking unsuspecting shoppers. NBC News' Maggie Vespa spoke exclusively with one of the victims. At her first concert in Greenville, South Carolina, 8-year-old Kaydence was given a surprise guitar by music star Brad Paisley. Kaydence says it was the best day of her life. She's already started taking guitar lessons to learn how to play. NBC News' Priscilla Thompson has the story.
