The search for a man suspected of fatally shooting four people at a Montana bar Friday morning ramped up on Saturday, with officials urging local residents to be alert as the suspect remains on the loose. NBC News' Kathy Park has the latest. As NBC Los Angeles obtained exclusive video of the aftermath of a dramatic home burglary, police in southern California are warning homeowners that thieves are surveilling homes and using high-tech tactics to plot robberies. NBC News' Sam Brock has more.   Pope Leo XIV addressed a massive crowd of about one million people at a Catholic youth vigil on Saturday, the Vatican said. It's the pontiff's biggest event since his election in May. NBC News' Claudio Lavanga reports from Rome. Federal officials are investigating former special counsel Jack Smith after President Trump and other prominent Republicans alleged that his investigations into then-candidate Trump amounted to illegal political activity. It comes as protesters demonstrated against the Trump administration on Saturday. NBC News' Vaughn Hillyard reports. A Republican-led Texas House committee voted on Saturday to move forward with a gerrymandered congressional map drawn to net five new House seats for Republicans. The move has huge implications for the U.S. House, and could become a setback for Democrats as they attempt to win control in 2026. NBC News' Ryan Chandler reports. In Detroit, entrepreneur Art Cartwright's humanoid robot went viral after it was captured on video along a busy street. The attention comes as humanoid robot companies attempt to publicize their robots as the next frontier for the robotics industry in Detroit and across the country. NBC News' Maggie Vespa has a closer look. After 18-year-old Hayden Ireland was injured in a motorcycle accident, Emily Stark pulled over and answered his call for help. Law enforcement officials are urgently searching for a suspected killer who shot four people at a bar on Friday. Authorities say the suspect is armed and incredibly dangerous. Residents in the area are on high alert. NBC News' Morgan Chesky reports. NBC News' Anne Thompson reports on the increase in tick bites this summer. Fordham's Louis Calder Center Director Thomas Daniels tells NBC News the number of ticks they've seen this year is at least thirty percent higher than in previous years. After President Trump fired the commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, he called a recent jobs report "rigged". A former commissioner of BLS told NBC News' Garrett Haake it's not possible for the commissioner to rig data. In New Jersey over the weekend, there was a scary collision between a boat and a 20-foot Minke whale. The boat nearly capsized and a passenger was thrown overboard. Sea Tow responded to the scene and reported that the animal was deceased. The Marine Mammal Stranding Center received the whale for further examination. NBC News' Sam Brock has the story.  More than 50 Texas Democratic lawmakers headed to New York, Chicago and Boston to stall a Republican push to redraw congressional districts in their favor. Now, Republicans are issuing civil arrest warrants for those Democrats to try to force them to return to Texas. NBC News' Ryan Chandler reports. Hamas released a video of 24-year-old Evyatar David, an Israeli hostage, appearing to look frail. Another hostage video was released by Palestinian Islamic Jihad showing 22-year-old Israeli hostage Rom Braslavski also looking emaciated.
