New details tonight in the investigation into the Minneapolis school shooting massacre. Minneapolis police confirm law enforcement has had a conversation with the shooter's mother, who has not been accused of any wrongdoing. This as a former classmate of the shooter says she noticed red flags. NBC News' Maggie Vespa reports. Fired Federal Reserve Board Governor Lisa Cook was in court today after suing to keep her job, following her firing by President Trump. Meanwhile, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. said he will restore ‘credibility' to the CDC after the firing of the agency's director. NBC News' Gabe Gutierrez reports. The IDF says it has begun the "initial stages" of its assault on Gaza City and that it had recovered the remains of two hostages. NBC News' Molly Hunter reporter from Jerusalem.  "This is the Emergency Broadcast System. A regional jet from Aspen to Houston had to divert and land in Austin after dropping nearly 5,000 feet in a severe turbulence event. A passenger described one person on board bouncing up and hitting the ceiling twice. NBC News' Tom Costello reports.  This is not a test." Actor and New Orleans native Wendell Pierce recalls the chill that message sent through his body. Hurricane Katrina had passed, but the city's levees had broken, filling it up "like a bathtub."
