Dow stocks soared over 1,100 points after the U.S. and China announced they would lower tariffs for 90 days. Meanwhile, President Trump defended his move to accept a potential offer from Qatar to provide a new Air Force One jet. NBC News' Gabe Gutierrez reports. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy outlined plans for a fix to the ongoing outage problems experienced by air traffic controllers for Newark Liberty Airport. NBC News' Tom Costello reports. The highly-anticipated trial of Sean Combs began today. Prosecutors said Combs used fame and power to run a criminal enterprise that included drug-fueled parties and violence. The defense admitted Combs was sometimes violent, but said the things that went on were not federal crimes. NBC News' Chloe Melas was in the courtroom. Edan Alexander, who was kidnapped by Hamas during its October 7 terror attack, was released today as part of a deal negotiated by the Trump administration. The U.S.-Israeli citizen has now been reunited with his family. NBC News' Hala Gorani reports.
