The CIA previously concluded that the Saudi leader approved the killing. NBC News' Garrett Haake reports. What started with a computer pop-up message led to a Vietnam War Veteran in Florida putting thousands of dollars of cash into a Bitcoin ATM. Criminals had tricked him into thinking his money was at risk of being stolen. Police found the man as he was loading in cash and convinced him to stop. The scam is part of a growing trend using Bitcoin ATMs. NBC News Liz Kreutz reports. A mystery spanning decades may be one step closer to justice after criminology students helped crack the cold case. In 1991, Cynthia Gonzalez was shot and killed and her family never knew who committed the murder. Students got access to files and photographs from the crime scene in a partnership with police. NBC News' Morgan Chesky reports. An LAPD source with direct knowledge of the investigation tells NBC4 Los Angeles that D4vd has not been cooperative. The source added that the singer likely had help in dismembering and disposing of the body. NBC News' Camila Bernal has the late details. Video shot inside a plane shows it crash landing in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Passengers scrambled to safety as the plane burst into flames.
