Investigators are looking into many high-profile aviation incidents around the world. In Hong Kong, a cargo plane lost control after landing and slid into the sea. A windshield shattered on a United flight that was diverted to Salt Lake City. NBC News' Tom Costello reports. From airlines to gaming platforms to financial services, a long list of companies went dark for periods of time today amid a massive worldwide outage. The outage was traced back to Amazon's cloud company, AWS. Amazon says they anticipate a "full recovery" soon. NBC News' Brian Cheung reports. A major manhunt underway for four thieves that broke into the world-famous Louvre in Paris. Authorities say the burglars got away with priceless jewels. After an emergency meeting today, French authorities are bedding up security at cultural sights across the country. NBC News' Molly Hunter reports from the scene. Sheriffs in Florida arrested a couple and charged them with leaving their six-month-old baby on a beach alone for nearly an hour. Both the couple and their attorney did not respond to a request for comment. NBC News' Priscilla Thompson reports. Jury selection wrapped up today at an Illinois courthouse for the first-degree murder trial of former deputy Sean Grayson, accused of fatally shooting mother of two, Sonya Massey. Grayson has pleaded not guilty. NBC's Maggie Vespa reports. Authorities in Atlanta have arrested 49-year-old Billy Cagle, saying they had plans of stopping a shooting at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Police say family of the suspect tipped them off to where he was headed. There were new clashes over President Trump's crackdown on illegal immigration, as the president praised law enforcement officers. Plus, new images show the scope of the demolition of the East Wing of the White House to make room for an expansive new ballroom. NBC News' Garrett Haake reports On Day 23 of the federal government shutdown, Democrats blocked a Republican bill to pay federal workers who are going without paychecks. Democrats said the plan gave too much power to President Trump. NBC News' Ryan Nobles reports. An NBA head coach who's in the league's hall of fame was indicted as part of an alleged illegal poker game scheme backed by the mafia. And a current NBA player was alleged to have illegally manipulated games to make money off bets. NBC News' Laura Jarrett reports. Bruce Springsteen returned to New Jersey and recorded the album 'Nebraska' in a bedroom. President Trump is talking up a plan to import beef from Argentina to drive down prices at the grocery store. Cattle ranchers are voicing their protests to the plan as are members of the President's own party. NBC News' Christine Romans report.  The new movie 'Deliver Me from Nowhere' reveals more about his struggles and rise to fame. NBC News' Kate Snow sat down with actors Jeremy Allen White, Jeremy Strong and director Scott Cooper to discuss the film. John Middleton of North Carolina has been told without a liver transplant; he likely has about 18 months to live. His doctor has recommended a treatment that he says would give John the best chance of getting to transplant, but insurance has denied coverage, agreeing instead to cover a different drug.
