Readying himself for Summers reaction to his article, Chris is annoyed when its clear Summer hasnt read it and remains oblivious to his frustrations. Quickly reaching boiling point, Chris confronts Summer and accuses her of being self-absorbed. Summers thrown by the attack and wonders if Chris has a point.

Sheila convinces Kyle a big romantic gesture is needed to win back Jade. He leaves flowers at her house, with a card asking Jade to meet him to talk. But the plan backfires when Bossy gets to the flowers before Jade does. Angry Jade stands up Kyle, pushing him to chase her down at work with a final appeal. But after Jade rejects him yet again, he finally decides to move on with his life.
