Faced with the prospect of Vanessa leaving tomorrow, Lucas is unable to hide his feelings any longer and Lou quickly guesses hes in love with her. Lou convinces him to tell Vanessa before she goes and Lucas arranges a farewell dinner for just the two of them. But his plans are thwarted when Vanessa invites Rhys to join them.

On his way to see his mum before his long-awaited trip, Rhys drives past the teen car wreck. Seeing their lives hang in the balance, he tries desperately to help them - but manages to injure his hand in the process. Ignoring his pain, Rhys pushes on until the ambulance arrives.
