Terese is stung to realise she's being made a scapegoat over the paid parking scheme, as Paul intends to abolish it if elected. Determined to find someone to run against Paul, Matt tries to talk Karl and Toadie into running, to no avail. But when Susan points out just how real the risk is that Paul will be elected.

Distraught about the Department of Human Services showing up, Rhiannon takes her anger out on Matt, accusing him of causing this. He denies it. Jackson is worried it was his fault but Rhiannon reassures him. Mason confronts Matt but eventually believes he did not make the call. Rhiannon is less convinced, hurt by practically being accused of prostitution by Child Services.
