Hearing of Matt's violent outburst from Paige and Bailey, Lauren tells Matt she's worried about him. Admitting the mortgage has put the family under too much pressure, Lauren believes the only solution is to sell the house and Matt has no option but to agree. Lauren and Matt break the news to Bailey and he's devastated. He tries to convince them to look at other options to raise money.

To celebrate the upcoming Erinsborough Festival, Paul is holding a champagne breakfast for all the sponsors, including his new best friend, Nick. Georgia, as the head of the hospital fundraising committee, is also in attendance and her presence comes in handy when Chris (who's there as a waiter) chokes on a quickly scoffed canapé.
