After pulling an all-nighter working for Dimato, Tyler runs into Brennan, who's unimpressed when he assumes he's been out partying all night – isn't he supposed to be opening the garage this morning? Tyler assures Brennan he's got everything under control. But when he finally turns up for work, he finds Paige struggling to cope after Matt's death.

Brad treads carefully when he asks Terese if she minds if he visits Lauren to see how she is. Terese assures Brad that he needn't ask her permission, but we see that her insecurities are there, just on the fringes of her magnanimity. Arriving at the Turner house, Brad finds Lauren dealing with a leaking fridge in an empty house; it is overwhelming her.
