Amber and Daniel are struggling in the wake of the baby news – but Josh is on cloud nine. While their parents' attempt at a meeting ends in tension, Daniel, Amber and Josh are handling things more maturely, determined to find a way to make things work. Amber worries that Daniel could be hiding his true feelings.

Paige nurses Tyler with his injuries and Tyler is adamant: no doctors. But Tyler is struggling – the pain is intensifying and regular painkillers aren't getting the job done. He rests in bed while Paige keeps Brennan off the scent and manages to spend some much sought-after time with him. But Tyler can't cope with the pain, so sends Paige off in search of something stronger.
