Brad confronts Terese over her drinking but she is adamant she doesn't have a problem. Imogen picks up on the tension and is worried. Josh has his own private concerns about his parents' marriage (aware of his dad's moment with Lauren). Together, they come up with a plan to test out their parents.

Paul's frustrated as Naomi continues to dodge his phone calls asking if she still has feelings for Toadie. When he learns she's signed up to organise Toadie's benefit, Paul fears the worst and tracks her down to the hospital where she's visiting Toadie – determined to find out the truth. When he arrives, Naomi is upfront – she doesn't love Toadie anymore but she does admire what a good man he is.
