John is rattled by Dustin running off at the sight of Mark, and despite Paige reassuring him that it doesnt mean hes in trouble with the law, John isnt convinced. Mark adds fuel to the fire, also suspecting there is something dodgy going on. When Paige discovers Dustins cut off all contact, Johns forced to re-evaluate who he is and whether staying in Erinsborough is for the best.

Toadies not happy when Sonyas long lost uncle Walter appears, wanting to see Sonya. Toadie suspects hes been on a bender, and wants him gone before Sonya gets home from her conference. While Walters off getting cleaned up, Steph demands to know whats going on. Toadie fills her in.
