Though she tries to run, Steph is captured by the fanatical and unbalanced Ari, who has brought his snakes to the Brennan house. He ties Steph up and proceeds to set the scene in a desire to ritualistically take care of unfinished business with her. He is determined to avenge the wrongs done to Belinda - his great love - and believes that snakes only bite those who are evil.

Paige struggles in her first pro fight, but the support of Brad and Tyler helps her rally and she lands a lucky blow that knocks her opponent, Angelina, out cold. At first Paige is triumphant, but when it becomes clear that Angelina may be seriously injured, guilt sets in. She refuses to leave the hospital until Karl can tell her whats going on, but the news isnt good.
