Kyle and Amy argue in the hospital corridor, and Terese arrives and confides in Paul that she had been drinking. Paul asks if she had hit David, but Terese denies it and Harlow believes her.

Karl informs Davids family of his registration for kidney donation, but warns them of the risks. Ned seeks counselling after being stabbed by his ex-girlfriend, Scarlett, and is hesitant to try mindfulness breathing techniques suggested by his counsellor.
