Claudias disappearance with baby Aster and speculate about whether she might have taken the baby and left the country. Meanwhile, Toadie is investigating Judge Vaggs history of unusual rulings, and Andrea threatens Elly in prison. After speaking with Judge Vaggs former clerk, Toadie is more convinced than ever that the judge has been bribed and is determined to prove it.

Elly is adjusting to being back home after being released from prison. She invites Shaun, the father of her child Aster, to stay with her so that he can be close to their daughter. However, both Elly and Shaun are struggling to cope with the aftermath of the trauma they have experienced.
