Pierce asks Hendrix how he feels about it, and Chloe explains that Fays condition is worsening, and she requires round-the-clock care, and they would like to provide relief for the family in Adelaide. Hendrix agrees, and Chloe tells Pierce how much she appreciates Hendrix for being a good egg.

Nicolette has moved into Number 24 and quickly made an impression on Chloe and Pierce with her no-nonsense attitude. However, Hendrix is surprised to learn that Nicolette arrived without his knowledge or approval. Nicolette later explains that she is there to take care of Fay, not to take on Chloes responsibilities.
