Chloe is admitted after experiencing severe pains while out for a walk alone. Her partner, Pierce, is worried about her and wants to go into the room with her, but Nicolette, another hospital staff member, advises against it. Chloe is in severe pain and looks tearfully at Pierce through the glass. Later, Nicolette gives Pierce the good news that Chloe and the baby are going to be fine.

Pierce accuses Nicolette of causing Chloe to have a miscarriage by encouraging her to go for a walk. Chloe, however, defends Nicolette and insists that it was her own idea. Aaron and David decide to give the family space but plan to take dinner and a care package over later.
