A family needs a basement renovation to create room for their family of seven, but it's been over a year and the contractor has made zero progress. Rico helps to mediate between the family and the project manager, and aims to remodel more of their home.

A singer's plan to transform her house into a haven for music takes a turn when she breaks up with her boyfriend who was overseeing the renovation. Now with a half-finished project and little money to spare, Rico is enlisted to get her home back on track.
