At Mercy, a horrific bus bombing results in a chaotic ER, with a clashing Briggs and Sands scrambling for available space. Meanwhile, Chloe suffers from a hangover; Sonia tries to keep her infidelity a secret.

Veronica treats an anorexic patient whose issues mirror Veronica's own problems. Before long, a consequential confrontation causes Veronica to consider reaching out to a therapist. Meanwhile, Chloe warms up to the pompous Briggs; and Sonia happens upon her ex-flame at a St. Patrick's Day celebration.
