Gaston calls 911 because his son appears to have drowned in his bath. The first responders manage to save him, but at the hospital they see that this child has been mistreated since birth. Gauthier questions Gaston then Marthe Legault, the neighbor across the street who had made a report to the DPJ. Laura still maintains that Gaston is a good father. Gauthier forwards the file to Gabrielle who files charges against him. Rafael pays a surprise visit to Christophe. Michelle asks him if he is not her son.

Xavier ends up in the hospital following a scuffle at home. Gauthier questions Patricia and Tom, who explain to him how things were going in the family, then his younger brother, Clément.
