Ángel and Bárbara's engagement and Bárbara's decision to leave her career for Ángel causes apprehension on the part of the King and Chelo; Chelo suspects that Ángel is hiding much more than what seems to be the case.

Ángel's bout of jealousy and violence brings forth Bárbara's childhood memories as she renounces a failed marriage. Ángel attempts to export his circus and close a deal with the Arabs.
