Angie and AJ are forced to go on the run, and come up with a cunning plan to capture Perry and turn him over to the President. It involves... capturing Perry and turning him over to the President.
While Angie goes to dinner, Pritkin gets word that his twin brother died looking for a lost treasure and leads the team on a desperate chase to get it before Cardin does.
Angie tries to help a woman who was poisoned by pesticides by posing as the woman's lawyer against an evil law firm and the evil company that they're evilly defending. Things get tense when AJ realizes that the woman is a fraud but Angie wants justice anyway.
Perry calls the SFD in to cover up the death of a man in the Secretary of the Interior's bed. Complicating the situation is the fact that Pritkin is the Secretary's old lover, AJ and Maria can't discuss their affair, there's a mole on the team, and the SFD isn't very good at covering things up.
While in Fargo on a classified case, Maria accidentally kills a man who deliberately killed a man, and a mysterious killer with a soda canister is after the truck that the deliberately-killed man drove before he was murdered. Deliberately.
A trader is killed in his own tanning bed, and the team go undercover at an investment firm to find out who is responsible. However, AJ gets in to deep and it's up to Angie to make him see reason.
The deaths of five supermodels has Angie infiltrating a fashion magazine, while the rest of the team investigate the connection between the deaths and a fat-stealing ring working out of Peru.
AJ goes undercover as an eSport gamer to get the goods on a subtle money-laundering scheme.
When a computer science teacher selling viruses to terrorists dies in an armadillo accident, Angie is forced to take his place in high school to flush out the buyer. Unfortunately, the teacher was also the glee club advisor, and Angie has no idea how to advise.
After 20 years in prison, Angie is released and is recruited by Pritkin to serve on a special division of the police force charged with dealing with cases too big for traditional law enforcement. One of Angie's new teammates is Angie Tribeca Jr., the son that she abandoned when he was 2.
In season three, Angie Tribeca makes television history by going where few shows dare to go: a third season. In pursuit of an animal rights activist turned serial killer, Tribeca, Geils and Tanner travel outside of their jurisdiction to New Orleans, New York, Miami, outer space and Universal Studios Hollywood. The season begins with the first episode and ends with the climactic last episode, barely stopping for episodes two through nine. If you liked Angie Tribeca's second season, you may or may not like the third season, which tackles issues such as dating again after divorce, gambling addiction and adjusting to life after amputation by a faulty hay baler (no one). One thing's for sure: Angie Tribeca's third season is shaping up to be among the top three seasons of the show so far.
In the second season, Angie and the detectives of the LAPD will investigate the murder of a sushi chef, the death of the "bad boy" in a boy band who gets decapitated by a t-shirt cannon and a band of drug-dealing lifeguards. In addition, they will tackle a difficult case with the help of a romance novelist.
