The search for Britain's best amateur pianists rolls into Leeds train station, with a Chopin lover, a piano on wheels, and a unique performance that stops the station in its tracks.
Claudia Winkleman hunts for Britain's best amateur pianists, by scouting passionate ivory-tinklers playing public pianos in train stations across the country, starting in London.
In Glasgow, an 86-year-old father of 11 hits the keys as more outstanding amateur pianists wow the public. There's also an Elton John-playing YouTube star and a boogie woogie biker.
Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, each week, talented amateur pianists will be invited to play on public pianos in London St Pancras, Leeds, Glasgow and Birmingham train stations, sharing their stories and music with the great British public.
However, what the piano performers don't know is that two of the most acclaimed and successful performers in the world – Lang Lang and Mika – will be secretly watching and one performer will be given a once in a lifetime offer by them, an invitation to perform on one of the world's most prestigious stages.
