Uncle Arkwright has long-gone, and Granville is running the corner shop with his son Leroy, the result of a one-night stand in Blackpool. Granville is unlucky with the ladies however his son is a hit. Granville wants to be able to get back in with his old-flame Mavis, however, he is having trouble getting past her sister Madge.
