Rike and Max embark on a pilgrimage while Inspector Lucas is called to a scene. A man has holed himself up in a café and is threatening to shoot himself and the hostages present. With the courageous intervention of Commissioner Lucas, the catastrophe is averted and all the hostages are freed. Only Christel Huber cannot be reassured.
