To escape the enemies targeting Fukiya, the death row prisoner they're guarding, the Boy Detectives' Club takes refuge in the abandoned building that Kobayashi had once been using as his base.

Inoue and the other detectives are disheartened after being told that the Boy Detectives' Club would be disbanded. The strange air around Kobayashi has returned and is working hard to heal his wound.
