When Billy Wheeler comes back to town $250,000 richer having won the lottery, he soon falls for contractor Judy Wilson. Unfortunately, when she takes him and every other partner for a ride, Billy is accused of her murder and Matlock has to try and clear his name.

The concluding part of a story in which Cliff tries to exonerate an eccentric millionaire who has been accused of murdering his uncle. Meanwhile, will Billy's decision to hire Matlock to defend him in court pay off?
