An American artist living abroad asks Alison to pose, leading her to believe he's in love. Mike, seeing Alison's seriousness, talks to her. Meanwhile, Penny invites a homesick artist from Iowa, mistakenly believing him to be a child. He befriends the family and draws Alison, who again falls for the artist. Her father resolves the situation with kindness and honesty.
