Police say Ashley duped people into believing she was the wife of a firefighter collecting donations for the devastating California wildfires, creating a fantasy husband, fake children and different identities.

Kimberly says she had so choice but to obtain guardianship of her then-6-year-old niece because the child's parents were neglectful drug addicts with a history of arrests; they want her back, despite currently living in a homeless shelter.
