A few people speak the Indigenous Djabuguy language fluently. Michael Quinn, an Englishman, is one of them.

The Marrin Gamu song was created to introduce Australians to the diversity and beauty of our first languages. It is sung by school students in five languages; Kalaw Kawaw Ya, Warrgamay, Nywaygi, Yugambeh and Wiradjuri.
