Grandmother Bear tells Little Bear the story of how his mother made friends with a baby robin when she was a little girl.

Little Bear has a date to play with Father Bear but Father Bear has forgotten and is sleeping in.  Little Bear makes every attempt to wake Father Bear and finally succeeds with a delicious fresh baked muffin.
