Alan finds out that his wife is divorcing him and he's devastated as he was hoping for reconciliation. When he thinks things can't get any worse, his daughter collapses. Alan returns to the slimming club after making a pact with his daughter.

Rebecca still lives at home with her overweight parents. Her mother has decided they should join a slimming club and Rebecca agrees. When a face from her past returns, psychological bullying rears its ugly head and Rebecca's cosy world is threatened.
