Grayson talks to some of the talented amateur artists around the country who've submitted their art, and chooses his favourites for a major national exhibition. Plus, artist Conrad Shawcross reveals how his mysterious mechanical sculptures draw inspiration from the past to give wondrous visions of possible futures.

A special episode following Grayson's Art Club's third national exhibition, hosted in Birmingham. Grayson Perry goes behind the scenes at the Midlands Art Centre as the curators put the exhibition together and experiences the city's vibrant arts scene with comedian Joe Lycett. He also travels round the UK to meet some of the nation's most inspiring amateur artists, whose work will be on show, and hears the moving stories behind the art they've made.
