An unpredictable deputy at the Floyd County Sheriff's Office in Georgia bullies, coaxes and comforts to help create new futures for a carjacker, a shoplifting party girl, a violent fighter and a granny-robbing thief.

Weapons are found on an 18-year-old student, who claims she had no idea she was carrying them and that they belong to a friend. In hopes of a clean slate, she attends a youth intervention program at the Chester County Jail in South Carolina.
