Sixteen amateur cooks from all backgrounds feverishly enter the MasterChef adventure. They must cook a dish that is dear to them and present it to judges Martin Picard and Stefano Faita.

Candidates are placed in teams for a challenge that will test their techniques and endurance. Taking turns, they must demonstrate that they have mastered the basics of cooking in order to advance their group to victory.
