At the same time, Franz learns that the SS is looking for Lotta in connection with Kurt's death. He immediately warns her and asks her to escape from Gdynia.

While Franz secretly experiences his father's death, the furious Kessler searches for the person responsible for the failure of the homing torpedo program. Roza is also suffering after Kurkowski's death, and Lothar informs her that he has been assigned to investigate Kurt's death. Anna meets with Franz and tells how the Polish intelligence faked her death to get him to cooperate. He also informs him that due to Kessler's increased vigilance, Franz is temporarily removed from espionage duties.
