While visiting family at the beach, Theresa surprises a longtime friend with a reading, and reunites him with his deceased parents. Afterwards, Theresa reads a former Long Islander whose departed dad didn't know the secrets his son was keeping from him and reconnects a winery worker with her long-lost son. In the end, Theresa returns home to find Victoria has yet to move out, and with the help of her dad Nick, resorts to drastic measures.

Back on the road, Theresa spends a few days in Chicago in between tour stops. Before braving a ride at the top of one of the city's tallest buildings, Theresa brings comfort to a woman who lost her mom after a brief illness. During a moving group reading, Theresa reunites a woman with her sister who she lost to a tragedy. And in one of the most emotional readings of the season, Theresa channels a son who passed away in his mother's arms. Back at home, Theresa wonders if dinner with her son will yield some exciting news.
