Comedian and serial killer Dylan Miles had a co-conspirator of sorts, his ventriloquism figure. Miles has a new goal that Bex and team try to piece together before more blood is shed.

The team hunts for a serial poisoner with unpredictable patterns and nontraditional methods. When he catches the watchful eye of Colonel Lazarus, the team is pushed to discover the inner workings of her mysterious plans.
