Andrés and Begoña spend the night together. Manuela visits María at the nursing home. Tasio is upset by Carmen's decision to move forward with her project without support. To try to lift his spirits, Luis and Joaquín decide to organize a surprise for Digna. Don Pedro meets Darío, but something about him strikes her as odd. Digna discovers the birthday gift Luis wants to give her.

Damián scolds Andrés and Begoña for what he discovered the night before. Raúl, a candidate for the new chauffeur, arrives and, with his natural aplomb, seems to have caught Claudia's attention. Luis and Joaquín want to convince Digna to celebrate her birthday. Damián and Manuela interview Raúl, but the new housekeeper doesn't seem very happy with the candidate.
