Seeking $10,000 in damages, a grieving woman sues for emotional distress after her neighbor, whom she entrusted to take her beloved 17-year-old dog for cremation, instead buries him in a public park without her permission.
When a pit bull viciously attacks a service chihuahua, two brothers face off in court over responsibility and a $10,000 judgment-one claiming negligence, the other blaming the unleashed chihuahua for provoking the fight.
Her Honor presides over two cases in this episode. In the first case, a driver falls asleep at the wheel, crashes into a ditch, and admits negligence, but claims he owes nothing because the car was a gift from the plaintiff, not a loan. In the second case, a co-owned car ignites a legal clash, with one party alleging illegal repossession and the other seeking an unpaid loan and towing fees.
Judge Sheindlin returns to the courtroom, delivering justice with her trademark wit, wisdom and no-nonsense approach to real people's cases. The series features lawyer Sarah Rose, who serves as the law clerk; court stenographer Whitney Kumar, a board-certified court reporter in the state of California; and bailiff Kevin Rasco, a retired Los Angeles probation officer. All episodes from previous seasons are currently available on Prime Video.
