Today on Loose Women, supporting the Facing It Together campaign, domestic abuse campaigner, broadcaster and journalist Victoria Derbyshire opened up on the abuse she endured during her childhood and why she believes it is so important her sons know what domestic abuse and coercive control is.
Speaking to panellists Christine Lampard, Coleen Nolan, Olivia Attwood and Nadia Sawalha, Victoria told how her father would "put his hands around my throat" and how she and her family would all "scatter" as they heard him return from work.
