Kenny Rogers' Roasters sets up shop across the street from Jerry and Kramer's apartment. Elaine gets comfortable in her position as president of the catalog but is quickly accused of abusing her company credit card benefits. George purposefully leaves a hat at his girlfriend's apartment in hopes that it will score another date.

A survivor of a shipwreck beats George out of an apartment, so George decides to tell the landlords the tragedies of his life in hopes of getting it back based on pity.
