Kripos becomes involved after the discovery of the shoe, and the small community reacts with unrest and mistrust. To show that this is a law-abiding society, they organize night ravens.

Marius Borge from Kripos invites the press to Slusvik to shake up the local community - and maybe find out who has unclean flour in the bag. The influx of the press has an unexpected effect, and soon several of the locals, especially the mysterious Nina Novak, crackle.
