Marshal Matthew Wayne is appointed as an undercover agent for the goverment. His job is find out who's been looting the U.S. Mail and killing innocent people.

Matt Wayne and his friend Abe Sanchez are ambushed while traveling on a stagecoach and Sanchez is killed. Before he dies Sanchez asks Wayne to deliver his money to his father in El Dorado County.
