When Melinda falls and injures her head, she wakes up to a world without ghosts and fears she has lost her "gift".

Following the jetliner crash just outside of Grandview, Melinda tries to get the confused ghost passengers to crossover, but she encounters an evil spirit who is working against her to keep the ghosts earthbound for "work" he has to do.
