Melinda gives up spending Christmas with her family in order to aid a man in understanding his ability. In doing so, Melinda is able to show the true giving spirit of the holiday season.

Melinda has trouble dealing with a ghost who blames Jim for his untimely death. However, when she begins her investigation into the ghost's death, Melinda discovers he is attached to the new doctor in town who he blames for his death.
