The year is 1862. The arrival of the Perry Expedition in Japan brings unrest into the cities. Jinya hears about a cursed sword called the Yatonomori Kaneomi.

In March of 1864, a job comes to Jinya to slay a demon named Okada. Okada has become a crazed murderer willing to kill anyone from fellow samurai to women and children.
